Hello Parents and welcome to your page!
Southside Student Ministries is dedicated not only to your student, but to you as a parent as you seek to raise them in the ever-changing world we live in! From resources, to encouragement, to a listening ear, to parenting forums, to personal visits–we have always done and will continue to do whatever we can to help support you, the parent of a teen! Please bookmark this page and come back to it often to find out what’s going on for you as a parent!
To provide you with all the information you and your teen needs, we have several ways which we use to communicate to you about our events, activities, trips, etc:
WEBSITE – Updates to the website will be made weekly on Friday
EMAIL – Information will often be sent via email message to our parents and students. Please be sure that we have the correct email addresses for the student and both parents by sending the information to firstname.lastname@example.org
FACEBOOK – Join our student facebook pages
TWITTER – Follow us at @SNCStudents
In addition to the features above, we produce a quarterly Student Handbook that is distributed to the teens. It includes basic information about the Student Ministry programs available for them as well as a quarterly calendar of events.
MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
All students must have a medical release form on file to participate in any activities outside of student services, such as small group outings, retreats, trips, etc. The forms are completed each September and good for one full year. These forms must be completed by the parent or guardian and signed with notarization.
Parent Volunteers are needed for some of big events. Every adult that works with our teens must complete a volunteer application and background check request. Contact the Student Ministry office for a Volunteer Application.
If you have any questions, you can always contact the Student Ministry office by calling 778-7800 ext. 221 or emailing us at email@example.com
Thanks for your support and allowing us to partner with and support you as you raise your teen!
