Your family is important to us and so is the safety of children. In Southside Kids you will find safe, clean, loving environments that are staffed by an excellent team of volunteer leaders that have gone through a thorough security process, including application, criminal background check. Volunteers receive continued Southside Kids trainings to ensure leaders are familiar with procedures and strategies for leading your kids well!
Southside Kids leaders are looking forward to connecting with your child, helping them develop long lasting faith and friendships, and supporting you in pointing your kid to Christ!

Easter Services

2 - 5 years of age | Preschool
Little ones can join Topher as he seeks to find out what Easter is all about! Through worship and fun activities just for preschoolers kids will explore the story of Jesus' resurrection and then hunt for treat filled eggs in special age specific egg hunts following each service.
K - 5th grade
Will explore the story of Easter through wild and crazy science experiments featuring the Amazing Chemistry show! Afterwards, kids can bring a bag or basket and scoop up some yummy Easter treats at the graded Egg Hunts following each service.

Bible Quizzing is a fun, friendly competition where kids learn the Bible, build friendships, and grow their faith.
This year, we’re exploring Genesis — from the creation of the world to Joseph’s amazing story. Quizzing is a great way to get your kids digging deep into God’s Word, while having fun with friends. Join the adventure! Bible Quizzing starts in September!

The second area Bible Quiz will be at Cross Point at 8710 Hull Street, N Chesterfield, VA
Parents, each church is asked to provide scorekeeper volunteers. It’s a simple role—just marking answers right or wrong—and training will be given before the quiz. Please plan to help with one round if needed. The quiz begins around 8:30am and will wrap up by lunchtime.

Has your child been asking questions about baptism or shown interest in taking this important step in their faith journey? We invite you and your child to join our Children’s Baptism Class—a warm and engaging experience designed to help children understand the meaning and significance of baptism in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Together, you and your child will explore what the Bible says about baptism, why it’s an important part of following Jesus, and what it means to make this personal commitment. Infants spend time getting love and attention while parents enjoy the main worship or small groups. Toddlers have time for play with friends, Bible stories and fun activities that point to God's love all around! In the elementary service, your child will participate in small and large group activities exploring Bible stories, including activities, skits, and enjoy worship time with their friends. Kids are encouraged to read the Bible at home, and share the love of Jesus.

In the pre-teen service, not only do they learn more about heroes of faith, be start applying them to their friendships too! Each week pre-teens are exploring questions about the Bible and what it looks like to be a follower of Christ. They also are big into friendships and fairness, so games and exclusive Preteen events play a big role in this group!

Baby Dedication
Presenting a child for dedication signifies your faith in the Christian religion, as well as your desire that the child may know and follow God. Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:13-14). We are excited to partner with you, as you guide and raise your child in the way of the Lord!
