Starting September 13, Southside Church will begin a four-week journey called Good Plans. Together, we’ll explore the good plans God has for us in four important areas:

Week 1: September 13 - Relationships | Event: Baptisms & Barbecue
Week 2: September 20 - Sexuality | Events: Men's Event & Lunch & Learn with Nick Stumbo
Week 3: September 27 - Parenting
Week 4: October 4 - Money | Events: Lunch & Learn with Mark Lail & Legacy Giving Consultations

Week 1

God designed us for connection, not isolation. In this message, we’ll discover how building our relationships on God’s love, intentionality, grace, and sacrifice can lead to healthier, stronger, and more meaningful connections.

Week 2

God’s design for sexuality is sacred, purposeful, and good. We’ll explore how Scripture helps us navigate a culture that often distorts God’s design, while choosing holiness, freedom, and healing over shame.

With Special Guest Nick & Michelle Stumbo
On September 20, following the second service, Nick and his wife, Michelle, will lead a Lunch & Learn on how to talk with your children about sexuality.

Week 3

Children are more than a responsibility, they are a gift and a calling from God. This week, we’ll look at the role parents, families, and the church play in nurturing faith and intentionally investing in the next generation.

Week 4

What if money was never meant to control us, but to be stewarded for God’s purposes? We’ll discover how trusting God with our finances can move us from stress and striving toward generosity, freedom, and greater faith.

On October 4, following the second service, Mark Lial from The Nazarene Foundation will lead a Lunch & Learn on how to teach financial stewardship and generosity to your kids.

MAN ON FIRE

Calling all men! You're invited to gather for an evening of activities, refreshments, conversation, and a powerful testimony. Nick Stumbo, from Pure Desire Ministries in Nashville, TN will be with us to share his story. You'll be encouraged and challenged, guaranteed! There'll be plenty of drinks, games, and friends waiting for you! It starts at 7 pm on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Southside Church, 6851 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield.
