In these final two verses, we see the crowd's reaction to Jesus' teaching throughout this sermon. The crowd's reaction highlights the uniqueness of Jesus' ministry because he embodied everything he taught. This foreshadowed His identity as more than just another rabbi or prophet. His authoritative teaching style pointed to His divine nature and mission, setting the stage for the rest of His ministry that ended his death, resurrection, and an invitation for us to become like Him through the power of the Holy Spirit!
