Becoming Great

Our pursuit of greatness is a fundamental human desire; however, Jesus transforms this quest by revealing the true key to greatness. It is not achieved by climbing to the top or clinging to power but by becoming a humble servant. If you want to be great, don’t fight for the front of the line; instead, take your place at the back. If you want to be great, don’t expect others to serve you; become a servant to others. If you aspire to greatness, don’t seek to exalt yourself; rather, be willing to become humble!
